Music is an inseparable part of the worship experience of Salem Church.  Today we know that music carries 60% of a traditional service and more than 85% of contemporary worship.  Music has always been an important part of Salem Church's past and continues to be a spiritual, uplifting experience into the future.  It is with this in mind that all those in involved in music at Salem continue to "serve musically through Christ"

Salem Singers

This choir sings and leads worship at the traditional 9:00 am worship service and at special services throughout the church year.  The style of music is varied and includes traditional anthems of the church, hymns arranged to new musical settings, and newly released works.

The focus of the group is to lead God's people in Spirit-Led worship.  The choir prays for one another and for the church and community regularly.  It is an exciting and fun experience for all levels of singing, but a serious heart for serving God is the only requirement (and a slight sense of humor!!!)

There is no audition or age requirement to be a member of this group.  Youth members are encouraged to participate, as the future adult members of God's church!  We currently need members in each voice part, especially mens voices!

The Salem Singers normally rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 - 8:30 pm. The choir season runs from September through mid June.
